This special turmeric comes from a 4th generation farm in Vijayawada, India. It is grown from an heirloom seed variety and contains a curcumin value of ~5.2% which is ideal for cooking and nutritional uses. Turmeric powder comes from the roots of a turmeric plant and is the staple spice in Indian and South Asian cuisines. This aromatic spice is brightly yellow and has ginger and orange aromas. This is the freshest, most potent turmeric around!
